The final international conference for the Fundamental Rights Education in Europe – FREE project was held in Athens, Greece, on the 7th December 2012. The conference took place at Goethe Institute, 14- 16 Omirou Street, Athens, between 10:00 a.m. and 18:00 p.m.
Experts and professionals in the fields of fundamental rights, adult education, criminal justice and professional training were invited to attend and participate at the conference, while representatives from the five participating institutes presented the project and its results.
The conference was the ultimate dissemination and sensitisation activity of the project, in an effort to create a fruitful discussion on fundamental rights education in Europe and to further cultivate a human and fundamental rights culture for the personnel in the judicial, penitentiary and public security systems.
The conference was organised and hosted by ERGON KEK, the project coordinator.
